The Next Phase of Residential Development at North Leigh Park
Thank you to everyone who participated in our public consultation for the proposed Reserved Matters Application for up to 1,500 new homes on the 70 hectare brownfield site to the north west of Leigh.
We will shortly be submitting our planning application to Wigan Council, who will then carry out their own statutory public consultation.
Welcome to the public consultation for the proposed residential development at North Leigh Park.
North Leigh Park already has outline planning permission, granted in 2013, for up to 1,800 new homes, a new local centre with leisure, retail and health facilities, generous public open space and essential road improvements. To date, 186 homes have already been delivered.
We are now preparing the Reserved Matters application, which deals with the detailed design of the scheme. We will shortly be submitting our application to Wigan Council.
